Stop kicking me for taking time to write a forum post
Welcome to Project: Gorgon!
Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Just spent 2 hours typing up a suggestion thread, got kicked out and had to login again. All progress lost.
Heya Tinlaar,
If you're typing up a lengthy post, it might be recommended to use another program to type it in and then just copy/paste into the forum; sometimes connections are lost and you have to login again.
Did you click the 'remember me' check box when you logged in?
No, but I don't think that checkbox should matter. For any regular website, that "remember me" checkbox remembers the credentials for logging in, and that's pretty much it. It couldn't really save the progress of writing a forum post or something. Even if this website is built differently, there is no good reason for logins to behave like sudo admin prompts. Why logout the user at all? Does a logged in user somehow consume more bandwidth, and the website needs to kick them out to cut costs for some reason? Either way, it's a really cumbersome design for a forum page. I'm not going to open up a word document just to copy and paste it into this forum.
