Interesting they feel the game is released
Yeah, some people are of the mind that if you are selling it that the game is up for review.![]()
Someone should inform the writer that the use of 'released product' is misleading and , atleast in my mind, implies a finished product. The writer is aware it is currently in beta, early access, correct? Thanks.

It's a question of semantics. "Beta" means it's a "pre-release version", but it also has literally been "released" into the (more) Public arena of Steam than where it was formerly.
Really, you think the day it loses that 'tag' on steam is all that will change? You don't see a drastic improvement in optimization, modeling/animations/graphics, additional promised content like new zones, housing, mounts, new skills such as vampirism, etc... being worthy of mention with that change?
Citan stated in the reddit we will be in beta for a very long time. I don't see all that time passing to only have a 'tag' change on steam at the end of it.
I mean common... implying a finished product by stating that it was 'released product' is very misleading.
That is semantics? All those huge game playing differences is semantics to you? Yea sorry but I disagree.

There is also another Massively article today that's basically just a quick write-up of the Steam AMA: http://massivelyop.com/2018/04/24/pr...algia-related/
It released as an early access title, a beta, implying unfinished product. If we are going to say it released then atleast be honest about how it released. Otherwise without the clarity there is room for misunderstanding of the product the reader is capable of purchasing.
It will be released as a finished product one day but that day was not in march and there will be many patches , not just one, between now and when that tag is removed which will have a substantial impact upon the quality, content, and kind of game we have.
