Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Going to try a scavenger/trivia game this weekend...

...if all goes well, I will sponsor this each week.

I have it planned out, and it passes my approval.

As always, resistance to Maztur productions is futile!

    Have a good day.

    An update:
I am holding off on the exact idea until the player population increases - still going to do it.

Instead, I started a game that can be copied by any player and easily done called "The Well". I stood on the Serbule Keep well and gave 10,000 Councils (the amount can by smaller or greater or the prize can be items, etc.) to the first correct answer of trivia questions (in this case, the questions came from what could be found in Serbule map, especially Serbule Keep) or the Councils went to the first player trading me a certain scavenger item I would call out (something without much value). Around 15 or more questions or items were done to test out how simple an idea could be fun, and also give a chance for players to win Councils!
*I think these ideas came from the Red Wing Casino idea, with the addition to make a payout easy and open for anyone to win easily.
**Please feel free to copy this idea, or change it - this is a great gaming community, everyone just build on it and make it a game genre statement!

I logged in that Saturday while you were running your quiz, and I just wanted to say belatedly that I thought it was really well done. I was rushing off to do RL chores, so I only stayed for a few questions but I liked how the ones I saw were all Serbule-themed, so that if nobody knew an answer immediately someone could run off and look for it (as happened with the inn mirror). I also enjoyed the trick question about Tadion's shirt color.

I think smaller prizes would work perfectly fine for me. I'd probably be happy with a reward of 500 councils or maybe even less - it's more about feeling clever by getting the answer than winning the prize.

Having an event chat channel could also be a thing - I'm not sure about the range of /nearby, but it seems fairly short at times, so I was afraid to run out of hearing range if I wandered off to check the vendor stalls like I'd initially planned. Of course, then if you have a separate chat channel, you need to advertise it exists in global, so that doesn't necessarily help...

Anyway, thanks for the unexpected Saturday morning fun!
