Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Rowen Trading Presents: The Gluttonous Gourmand Gala!

When: May 16th, 4pm server (Eastern) time.
    Where: Casino Party Room

On May 16th, we will be holding a Gourmand XP event!

We’re trying to get a list of interested people so we make about the right number of each dish. Those who RSVP will get an item to access the party room immediately at the start of the event. 3 hours later, the restriction will be lifted and the remaining food will be available to anyone who wants it.

    *RSVPs are now closed*

If you’re interested, RSVP by filling out this form with the in-game name of the character you want to participate this week. Responses will close at midnight server time the night of the 9th. If you have already responded, you do not need to do so again.

Note that this is very experimental, and we may encounter problems!

This will include 39 low level uncommon foods:
    Barbecued Mystery Meat
    Barley Bread
    Basic Ham Omelet
    Bitter-Mint Tea

What do you mean "good"? I'd like some more death XP :P

Anyone happen to know what gourmand level we'd need heading in order to be able to use all the foods?

Thinking of signing up my alt at Gourmand 17, but i'm guessing i'd end up wasting some of the higher level food (or need to find a place to stash it).

So i'm wondering how much xp i'd need to get beforehand in order to make it through all the courses.

Probably will just math it out, but i figured i'd check if someone had already run the numbers.

A lot of them actually have low Gourmand requirements. Here's a short summary:

    Level 0: 14
    Level 1-9: 8
    Level 10-19: 7
    Level 20-29: 9
    Level 35: 1

Fantastic thanks, i skimmed the list and the first one i checked was the level for was the 35, so i was a bit worried, but it looks doable. Knowing that that is the highest one by a fairly large margin puts my mind at ease.

I'll sign up (via the Google Form) and do the math later xD.

Yep, but if you're around at 7pm EDT, there should be some leftovers!

Thank you for the event. I found it well organized. I used the report under my Gourmand skill to see which foods I had already sampled, and which were really new.
