Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

    I'm Hooked

Best game I have played in half a decade. We used to sit around and pray for a game that was a cross between UO and WoW and this is as close to it as I have ever seen. 10/10.

I just discovered this game this week, and have not purchased and dove into it as yet. I never had a chance to play UO, my first mmo was Final Fantasy XI, which was a huge part of my life; I'm hoping this one might be a similar experience.

If you have never played a sandbox prepare for a completely different gaming experience. It's called freedom. Last night I took a quest where the guy told me to go get a musical instrument and play for 10 minutes. Grabbed a loot and headed for center of town. Joined 2 other lute players, 2 trombone players and a guy on the flute. There was a giant pig dancing and rolling around while a female slapped his belly with a sword. 15-20 people were gathered around watching and prolly thinking WTF? A couple started dancing (no /dance command here you have to get the skill and level it) 10/10. Would do again. Rumor has it insulting your enemies is a skill to be learned. Bucket list

This is great for a quote on a steam review!

I've already got a different quote, otherwise I'd use it.

I did put this on Steam. This games deserves to be given a chance by the masses.

FFXI was my first mmorpg as well, and it's very reminiscent of that will the combat skill level up system. There's skills for everything, but it plays like a mixture of FFXI and Star Wars Galaxies to me.

this is the first game that could measure up to the community and immersion of everquest. and the combat is way better. jesus christ playing a warrior was tough sledding - top level warriors with max gear couldn't even kill a mages pet or a mob 20 levels lower. but i enjoyed the fuck out of my niche role.

The best quote I've seen for a Steam review comes from the chat: "This game is so good, it makes me want to hold in my shit."
