Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Cool Rowen Trading Presents: The Second Annual Erachia, Elshana's Festival

    Heya, Alharth!

Rowen Trading is happy to announce that Erachia, Elshana’s Festival is back!

When: 00:00, April 23 to 23:59 April 25 Server time (EDT)
** Note: The Full Moon Phase starts on the 25th, so we're adapting some of our events to be Lycan-friendly **
    Where: Starting at Serbule Well
What: 72 hours of fun, silliness, and prizes (lots of prizes, see below)!!
Who: You! Me! Alharthians! Agrashabians! Fae from all Season Courts! Nature Spirits! (Maybe even Davlos… meh?)

We’re plotting with other Guilds around as well, so you’ll see lots of familiar names and faces.

The games include “Drunk Deer Tag”, “Hide and Seek”, and more, with fabulous prizes for first, second, and third places.
“Drunk Deer Tag”, also known as “what, where’d they go!?”, will have our characters drunk, changed into deer form, and chasing a designated person. Note: we want the hunting deer to be feeling the effects of the alcohol so no Monger’s Boons, please. Anyone with a purple glow will not qualify for that prize.

There will be raffles of all sorts of prizes, such as piles of councils, items to help you level tough skills, or adding to your stash of goodies. A few of them may include IOUs from our guild members! Some of my favorites are the Fire Magic 1-50 and 1-80 sets, the Candlemaking 1-35 set, and the Large Gem Shop prize.

Between the larger events, we’ll have some goodies for everyone: potentially dance parties, pun-offs, hidden raffles, and some impromptu fun. Who knows what we have up our sleeves! Maybe even some Lore-based trivia questions from our resident Archivist General! Watch for updates!

All of this would not be possible without your participation. But what do you need to do? Only show up ready to have fun and get a little crazy.

Last year's Erachia post has a bit more info like the prime times. Those may be slightly adjusted because it's a bit later in the year.

    See ya there!

As part of Erachia, we’ll be doing a round of trivia with questions about lore and the history of the game itself!
When: 6pm server time (EDT) Saturday.

The questions were provided by the wonderful BetaNotus, so are fairly tricky and not easy (or sometimes possible) to find on the wiki!

The prizes vary based on the difficulty of the questions, so we’re posting them here along with the time limits for answering.

    Drunken Deer Tag

Drunken deer tag involves a herd of drunk deer chasing a target deer for councils and entertainment! Access the drunken deerifyer box near the Serbule well to join in (there’s a matching box to un-deer after the chase).

There will be three catches for a round of tag. To catch the target deer, you need to successfully open trade with them. After a catch, the target deer gets a 10 second head start for the next round.

Note: we want the hunting deer to be feeling the effects of the alcohol so no Monger’s Boons, please. Anyone with a purple glow will not qualify for that prize.

    Prizes:
    First catch - 500k
    Second catch - 250k
    Third catch - 100k

    Times:
    Saturday 8pm Server Time
    Sunday 4am Server Time
    Sunday 2pm Server Time

The chase is limited to an area in and around Serbule Keep - see the rough map below.
