Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

    Making money?

Let's say for no reason, you level 70ish in sword/shield (and now allot in much else) you need 300K+ to unlock 70-80

How do you do to make money, that's more than had at one time by allot.

    Thanks

You stop spending, and then you'll see that money accumulates. For instance, this is what you get in one month doing the Qatik daily quests alone, not counting loot or other bonuses.
A good source is of course doing Work Orders also, but if you don't want to spend time and money skilling up tradeskills, another option is to collect, identify and sell paintings found in Goblin Dungeon. That's 60k waiting for you every week (might be limited by your play time though).

Gorgon has a ton of ways to make money. As Niph said "quit spending". Don't buy Amethyst, go survey for a half dozen. Grow and Cook your food. Quit spending a lot of money on things.

Then go look at ways to make money. Foraging is one way. Wood is always in demand. A stack of oak for 10k, maple for 20k, spruce for 40k. Cedar a bit less demand. You could go logging in kur, kill wolves, and then sell wood to players and skins to vendors. Dump the gear from wolves up to Ukorga

Another option is running the dailies, and selling all the gear. Lots of vendors buy gear, figure out which ones and max them out so you can sell more.

Overly simple advice would be... know what your vendors buy and figure out who has cash and sell to them.

A more specific answer would be: skinning-->tanning because it is great at your level. If you don't have the best mods to farm I'd say do work orders. But there is a good chance you don't have industry /storages dedicated to work orders yet. Selling art from the back of the goblin dungeon is good too. It's go smoother for you if you can meditate and get electric resist.

There is more council on players than there is on NPC shops, so I would also suggest making a player stall. Gems are always a safe thing to sell as is cotton. But also things required for guild quests. The big ones would be: Arm bones, prisms, cabbage, strange dirt and wolfsbane.

I got stuck there for like a year honestly. Well I had to take a big break in the middle so it was less time actually playing.

What was the game changer for me was that I started focusing on being good at making money. I stopped spending money unless that money spent was improving my money generation. I did the dailies, I did skinning, I did work orders. I sold gear to vendors from the daily runs, I put some time and effort into increasing vendor caps where I needed it. Eventually I was just making enough per week that I just let it pile up and I got my skills uncapped.

I did my uncaps before the AM dailies, those would have made it much, much easier. I'd totally do any Sewer/Labs dailies and GK if you can find a good group.

I found it quite easy to make a considerable sum fairly quickly. I raised my Industry high enough to get a vendor, found a niche product that sold fairly consistently, and in less than a month of playtime made several hundred thousand councils. Spent most of it fairly quickly, too...lol. I've let my vendor lapse until the 30-day reset, and I'll do it all over again. You can't go wrong with items like Amethyst, for example. It sells for anywhere from 400-700 each, depending on supply, and is quite easy to get.

Less than a month in with 2 combat skills moved to 50-60, foraging at 50-60 with gardening, butchering and skinning money ready to move to 50-60 with just favor to earn for them. My playtime is being reduced considerably because the new college semester is starting, but I feel that I've a good head start.

Others have mentioned things like wood and strange dirt. These are in constant demand on the player board. Cotton and perfect cotton are ideas, too.

You could join one of the larger guilds, if they still do guild quests the points can be converted to money bags.
This can provide a solid income for your character and also your alts.

I keep my mules in guilds and log them in once per play session just for this reason.
