Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Sure, i can see that later on, but as a new player you don't get that info, you gota come on here and look and google or wiki.
You are 100% correct about this gripe and the game would be a better place for this problem being fixed. Someone who has been playing less than 2 weeks made this very same remark.
I do want to point out though that I got battle chemistry unlocked in under a week for my first character (in a time when there was no free money from the casino).
You could have spent the week from the first time you posted in this thread to unlock alchemy (even if a few hours at a time just ripping out skulls - but that option is closed if you missed it now).
Sure, i could be spending my time clicking on an online game for a solid week..
Or i could be doing something else with my time.
I can do any other combat skill not advanced and grind it fine and enjoy it, buuuut because B/C is advanced.. i need another week worth of farming to get it.. isnt that a purposely added time waste? like you could do it at the rate of others.. but nope.
I mean higher level NPC skill trainers of advanced skills are just 1 dude in 1 place and sometimes those dudes are only around at certain times of the day, and they only visit one spot and there is no other similar NPCs or sync skill related to those nearby to train with or use as a vendor or storage, like no advanced hub you would be able to spot if new without needing the wiki.
Woulda been nice to see an advanced class have advanced trainers that visited other towns asif they traveled or something.. anything to make the class seem advanced in 1 way at all other than just cramming more time into the grind to actually want to stop people from doing it because it sux.. really think about that, its said the reason things are as the way they are is to stop everyone from being one, you gota want to do it.. but yay for gardening fertilizer hey.
Not sure how long i need to play this game to casually try to sell someone at a full week of only playing this game and be only grinding 1 skill, clicking the dead bodies because there is no loot support buttons and mooch bones into fertilizer because of the advanced special tag just pretend thats a fun activity just because they were forced to do that in a different stage of the games development when the mechanics were different and some say easier.
Doesn't matter now though hey, because you get to keep your skills when the wipe happens at launch, never need to do it again unless you like alts, but finding a better method to make the skill a fun advanced one isn't going to be looked at or cared about for those who already have it, bias feedback really, isn't it..
So they say i hated doing it-it sucked never again thankgod its over, forever bad mechanic no future improvements 1 week farming #jagex .

That's an excellent point, in so far as other players who've already leveled the skill on "easy street" are concerned.
Of course that is part in parcel a benefit of supporting Project Gorgon in it's infancy.
The huge early access spiel on the steam page sums up what I can expect from Project Gorgon and I'm sure the Dev's appreciate your feedback.
Welp, I'm off to making Bone Meal for zero Alchemy Experience but at least I"m getting materials for fertilizer =).
I already had 11 alchemy and I did the Bone Meal recipe once and only got xp for it once. Lol.
Yeah that's a change that got patched in at some point because it was determined this was too easy.
There are still a lot of recipes that i am finding for easy alchemy xp on my alt:
- Rotten Strawberry. Main always needs more for fertilizer
- Speed Potions (Blinding/Agonizing), though i haven't found the recipe yet. To sell.
- Cranium Powders (not the base one but the other two Enhanced i think is one, i forget the exact names) can buy these from azalak. To sell.
- Weak Acidic Cleanser (which my main always needs more of for various crafting, and it stacks high, so why not just spam a bunch on my alt)
- Pineal Juices (again not the base one but the other two, though really the third one is best in terms of money maintaining/making, and i don't think you get this until 30, when...). To sell.
- Once you hit 30 it's a walk in the park because you can spam Wilpower Gels (admittedly this is another hard-to-find recipe, i think, although i managed to get 2 and haven't even hit 30 alch yet). Wilpower Gels can be turend into Cranium Balm or the aforementioned top-tier Pineal Juice for more alch xp and nice cash.
