The idea behind this thread would be to find a more interesting way to create guilds rather than a gold grind. Why? First of all, to go with the game philosophy which makes you level every aspect you want to see progress in. Second, to make guilds more scarce and more prestigious by being something you have to put time and effort into. Here i will suggest some ideas to the task:
* Guild and party creation both require leadership skill, Party could be available from scratch (i would recommend that you at least pass the island on your own so you get the basics of the game right and once you leave the island you be granted with 1-3 leadership skill, since you could manage to do the requirements to get of the island) so you can make a TWO people party.
*Each level of Leadership would grant you the following (as an example):
- Level 1: Able to create party of 2 (only the party leader needs the skill in every case)
- Level 2: +1% chance of rare loot while on party
- Level 3: +2% XP while on party
- Level 4: Able to create party of 3
- Level 5: +1% Chance of rare loot while on party
- Level 6: +2% XP while on party
- Level 7: Able to create party of 4
- Level 8 +1% Chance of rare loot while on party
- Level 9: +2% XP while on party
- Level 10: Able to create party of 5
- Level 11: +1% chance of rare loot while on party
- Level 12: +2% XP while on party
- Level 13: Able to create party of 6
- Level 14: +1% Chance of rare loot while on party
- Level 15: +2% XP while on party
- Level 16 - 50: Increase guild roaster and guild benefits such as
+ Storage
+ Larger groups within guilds (or even make guilds not require to group up and be by
proximity)
+ New NPC group hard favors.
* The leveling idea behind Leadership Skill could be either as an aditional to favours (quests), lore, oratory, notoriety, civil pride, and those kind of skills to make you cover a wide variety of "social skills" (added in certain level of each skill) or have its own Leadership skill leveling which could be by one of the following:
- Add NPC dialogs which require player decisions and actions which may grant + or - leadership experience.
- Player experience gained and favors completed while on group (this would be if you start with 2 player group creation)
- Adding mechanic to tribute corpses of other players (and or animals) instead of butchering it or skinning it which would be a slower and more time consuming method of burying.
- Buffing other players while playing, trading and chatting, giving the players an option to "recommend" another player giving them xp.
