Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Iocaine Resistance - Inhale this, but do not touch.

Ive been working on resistance and just wanted to get in a thread for all those new players to get some feedback from those who have achieved man in black levels of resistance for this.

For me early quests giving you iocaine powder kicked it all off. new way to die and beginnings of resistance. But since then Ive gotten favor with Voo in the mushroom caves and started full on poisoned foods. this is great but Im looking for all you other Alpha survivors to let the rest of the Gorgonites know what your experience is for leveling.

Looking forward to getting some feedback and seeing what I might be missing for when I level my alts.

Also what is your experience with being evil in this Halloween time and spreading around poisoned foods?

What you do not smell is called Iocaine powder. It is odorless, tasteless, dissolves instantly in liquid, and is among the more deadlier poisons known to man.

I don't know how to do the first step, despite having it in my inventory for awhile now and rep with Voo.

I leveled it for the synergy bonuses. It's unfortunate that eating the poison food gives no gourmand, and eating the food doesn't even give a food bonus if you have the resistance to stomach it. It's a half-developed skill and I haven't read anything about it's future intended purposes. Still it's worth to try out as you get can some dying xp from it. Or if you'd like you could carry stacks of the food (or give to your alts) for a quick suicide option if you don't want to use fuel oil or WOPs.

As for leveling it, it's a good one to level with alcohol resistance because both debilitate your character. Might as well make a party of them both.

Agreed absolutely. While it can be risky doing it a bit too frequently and that can be extreme if your talking about alcoholism since that can cause serious play issues for those not ready to deal with it.

For @Crissa if your looking for the first iocaine npc related quest run through the starter quests in Serbule area Im pretty sure it was Mushroom Jack that gave it out but not 100% on that.

I've been interested in working on my own iocaine resistance, but I have always wished that the poison foods had more purpose. If they offered exclusive buffs or had some larger role to play in the economy (work orders?) it would be a more engaging field of study....
