Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Pandora’s Box is a (very) small, casual guild that is the fantasy equivalent of a suburban neighborhood. Current demographic: working adults that value peace and quiet, but also kindness.
Our community amenities include but are not limited to:
An HOA that doesn’t care what kind of lawn you have or if you have a lot of kitschy yard decor, just that you don’t take too much more than you give.
Friendly neighbors who don’t mind if you say hi, but aren’t likely to show up at your house with a fully loaded fruit basket and get invested in the minutiae of your life, nor expect you to do the same for them.
Guild vaults with common work order and quest items like spider legs, pork shoulders, and mantis claws; also an assortment of infrequently used items that are best shared, such as a delousing comb!
Relative peace and quiet not guaranteed but mostly assured. We have no plans to hold scheduled events or offer more than a place to settle away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
If you find the above amusing or even relatable because you are also a homeowner who despises HOAs, then you’re likely to find a happy place here. If you want a newbie-friendly guild that is going to help you run dungeons, then you may want to find a different neighborhood!
Just be warned… when you open Pandora’s Box, you accept the risks and rewards that might be found inside. (disclaimer: there may or may not be any rewards whatsoever, and likely no risks.)
