I asked in Global but did not elicit a satisfactory response concerning this issue, so I am taking it to the forums to gauge how widespread it is:

Several months ago, I tried to apply an augment to a Gazluk Keep knife I looted (to no avail). I kept getting an error message saying the item doesn't have enough enhancement points, but unless I am mistaken it has a full allotment of them. The item has never been augmented before, only the mods were transmuted a few times and repaired maybe twice. Still, it will not take the augment. I have included screenshots of the item stats and error message.

I have applied knife augments before, and I believe it is this particular "Gut-Ache's Chopper" that might be bugged, although I currently do not have another to test with. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem as well.
