Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
After reverting from the new UI to the old one I have run into a few issues.
First and foremost my inventory seems a few pixels off. When I want to stack items I have to drag them in weird ways because what is actually the top of an icon on my screen isn't where its actually located.
Second, my map is very off. If I drag my map across the screen the pins on it move all over the place. It's almost impossible to remove them all because the difference in where it thinks my cursor is and where it actually is.
I've deleted all my game files and did a fresh install but I'm still having the UI issues.
Also, these settings should be coming from your GorgonConfig.txt which is not stored with your regular game files, so a re-install wouldn't wipe it out. If Jaspen's suggestion doesn't work for you, you may want to just try renaming that file (while you are not logged into the game), and that should create a new config file with all default settings the next time you log in. Sadly, this will also wipe out settings you may want to keep, like your keybindings.
I'm not sure where the GorgonConfig.txt is stored - if you are running Windows, I think it would be somewhere under your users directory. You may need to search for it.
There's a known issue with the map in the old GUI: if UI scaling is used, the pins go all weird. So it sounds like you just need to make sure UI scaling is back to normal and that will likely fix all your issues. (Deleting the configuration file as mentioned above will also work, because it wipes out all settings.)
