Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Pretty bad performance in pretty good PC

Long story short. These are my specs.

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
    RAM 16 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

And I can't get more than 20 fps...

I tried with the graphics settings at minimum, and both grass override options disabled, tried with dx9 and dx11, but I still can't get more than 20 fps out of the game.

    Is this normal?

    Edit.
Well, it seems I was able to fix the issue, now I get more than 100 fps.
I don't know exactly what setting did the trick, but the two I suspect are in the nvidia control panel.
In Manage 3d settings, I changed the global setting "Power management mode" from the default value to maximum performance and "multi display/mixed gpu acceleration" from the default to single display performance mode.

Maybe this will help someone else in the future.

I don't think so. I get 20-30 fps most of the time (sometimes down to 15-20) on a 3.4 GHz i3 with 8 gigs of ram and onboard graphics (Intel HD 4400), the lattermost of which is a major bottleneck.

Yeah, I got similar answers when I asked ingame. I really don't know what to do anymore.

    Edit.
Fixed! Check original post for details.
