Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

    The Real Lycan Curse

    From the January 2nd dev blog:
    I've decided that it's time for Gazluk to be launched! So we've been pushing hard to get all the details ironed out. It will take another week and a half, I think, and then version 1 of Gazluk will be ready for testing.
    So we can guess that'll it come out around the 12th-15th...which coincides perfectly with the in-game lycan curse. Looks like this is going to be another famous "full-moon-update"

    Ice Magic Added - May 03 2015 (full moon May 02-04)
    Kur Tower Expanded - May 03 2015 (full moon May 02--04)
    Level 60 skill caps are first added to the game - July 01 2015 (full moon June 30-July 02)
    Ilmari Desert Added - July 01 2015 (full moon June 30-July 02)
    Altar of Norala Added - July 01 2015 (full moon June 30-July 02) (yes, I know this one makes perfect sense)
    Nature Appreciation/Flower Arrangement Added - March 23 2016 (full moon March 22-24)
    Ice Magic 60 - March 23 2016 (full moon March 22-24)
    Work Orders - May 23 2016 (full moon May 21-23)
    Guild Quests - May 23 2016 (full moon May 21-23)
    Lab Expanded- May 23 2016 (full moon May 21-23)
    Knife Fighting Added - June 19 2016 (full moon June 19-21)
    Gazluk Added - January 12 2017????? (full moon January 12) (appropriately, the second full moon after a winter solstice is the Wolf Moon) (this ended up not happening, Gazluk released on January 22)
    Brewing Added - May 09 2017 (full moon May 09-11)
    BUNNIES - June 09 2017 (full moon June 08-10)

    EVERY MAJOR CONTENT RELEASE FALLS DURING THE FULL MOON. I will be legitimately disappointed if Gazluk's release date doesn't continue the pattern.

    Personally, I believe Citan is an actual werewolf and knows he won't be able to code in beast form, so he rushes updates out before it happens.

    Heh so i wasnt crazy after all - they really ship durnign full moon very often!

    Well last combat upadate and food rework wasnt launched durnign full moon iirc. Also non of clases reworks after that i think...

    I remeber being pretty upsed at few instances, when becasue of full moon i coudlnt test new skills (mostly Ice magic, and knife fighting).

    Anyway, as long as non of content will be blocked for animals, im ok with updates being shipped on full moon.
