Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

    Wipe details

This one is directly directed to the devs.

Could we please get an update about the wipe. Citan stated on discord that gear wipes are now also off the table, but what about other things.
This is also directly related to player numbers: we are still losing players to other MMO, not because they do not like the game, but because they feel there is no incentive to keep playing when there is no clearity about what one will lose down the road.

Would be nice to get clearity about these things:
    - gear (current status, no wipe?)
    - skills (current status no wipe)
    - councils
    - quests completed (do we need to do them again?)
    - storage slots aquired from paying councils, doing (povus) quests, guild level, favor levels, casino tokens
    - event related gear, keys, rewards, tokens
    - VIP time
    - mats, quest items, crafted items

    Thanks in advance.

From in-game conversations, Jack has said several times that there is no wipe happening. There has also been discussion on facebook that is pretty specific: https://www.facebook.com/search/top?...ct%3A%20gorgon

    - gear (current status, no wipe?) NO wipe.
    - skills (current status no wipe) There has NEVER been any talk about wiping skills.
    - councils NO wipe
    - quests completed (do we need to do them again?) NO wipe on favor. This would have included quests, so you could re-earn favor. Not happening now.
    - storage slots aquired from paying councils, doing (povus) quests, guild level, favor levels, casino tokens. Even when there was a wipe scheduled, storage slots from councils were said to remain. If favor isn't getting wiped, then storage won't be wiped.
    - event related gear, keys, rewards, tokens NO wipe on gear and items. Many items from rewards were changed into abilities specifically to protect them, so hard to see that changing. There has been no talk ever of wiping abilities.
    - VIP time
    - mats, quest items, crafted items No wipe

This was said on FB: "So no item wipe is planned anymore. We may still need to wipe individual items, or even whole classes of items, or reset specific skills, etc., during beta, but we won't be making any big wipe at launch."

Yeah, long and short of it is we aren't planning to do any special wipe at launch. Your characters will roll over from beta to launch mode with no dramatic changes.

We may still have to wipe skills or even whole systems during beta for balance reasons, so I definitely can't say "no wipes of any kind ever", but nothing is planned for launch.

    Thanks for the clarification.
I hope this gets communicated broadly as well, it might bring back the old guard and lure in new players.
