Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
I have reported on multiple occasions the problems with mother loads in Kur especially and occasionally in illmari. Well here the last few weeks I have been crafting Jewelry for a few players so I started mother loads in Gazluk. OH boy, lets just say this is the worst map yet to do mother loads in. Today I did 50 Superb metal mother loads well I only got to actually mine 42 of them because 8 of them got swallowed up by the mountains. And then many I was barely able to mine as it only showed the tip of the node.
Now it takes Hassium which is not the easiest to find, yes I know you can trade glowy yellows for it, but when you need those for the crafting you have to do why use them up just to get the hassium? So I lost well over 2 stacks of superb metal slabs today from those nodes disappearing and the precious hassium it took to make these surveys.
So I guess what I am saying is I will not do mother loads anymore because this gets me so pissed off that I just want to shut down the game. It takes so much time and resources to do these to only have them disappear on you 15% of the time if not more.
"Do you want to know every time a motherlode spawn is stuck in terrain and not useable?
I'm working on a general fix for this one, so I don't need to know every spot that they get stuck. But do please submit a report at least once after each game update so that I'm aware it's still a problem."
Anyways, very frustrating, but if you are doing motherlode surveys in the mountains, try to face downhill or away from any rocks whenever you check the survey. That seems to decrease the likelihood of them spawning inside of the stone. Not a perfect workaround, but it does limit the moments of rage somewhat.
