Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Suggestions: Smart auto-loot system and keyboard buttons for dialog windows

Why auto-loot: it will save clicks and time to loot everything in the game.

    Default nowadays:
    Use Selected "U"
Handy to use in tandem with Select Next/Previous Non-Combatant, to quickly loot ground items, or shuffle through a pile of dead mobs.

    My suggestions:

#1 Add "auto-loot" option. When it's enabled, you can loot many corpses near the character by pressing "Use Selected" once to launch the auto-loot process or press "Manual use Selected" to use the manual looting. You can bind matching key buttons.

    Auto-loot features:
    - it puts an item to inventory automatically, if you already have this type of item, else looting is manual for that and if the item will take a new cell so looting is manual.
    - it remembers your choice about Butchering or Skinning, etc. It respects your choices about different types of mobs aside (tigers, deers for example).
    - one time you've Butchered or Skinned, it launches auto Butchering and auto Skinning.
    - it launches auto Autopsy.
    - it won't loot objects without permissions.

When you involved in the grinding process you no longer forced to do many clicks every time you loot a corpse, especially if you have many corpses.

    Conditions for canceling auto-loot process:
    - use any direct movement like turn, strafe left/right, Move Forward, jump, etc.
    - Press the Esc button or click "x" button on the right top side of the dialog window.
    - you were attacked by an enemy.

    Conditions for suspension auto-loot process:
    - the item will take a new cell so looting is manual.
    - you loot a new type of creature

After suspension auto-loot process will continue if you've done with manual actions that needed to close the dialog window.

Don't panic about the game will turn to auto grind. There are Conditions for suspension contained above.

#2 Add Enable/disable auto-loot options for Anatomy. So if u don't wanna auto Autopsy, disable this option, when u use Auto-loot.

#3 Allow "Select Next" and "Select previous" when the dialog window opened for choosing actions like Butchering or Skinning. Allow "Use Selected" to confirm. Or it can be "Move up" and "Move down" buttons, and in this case, you no longer swimming up and down when looting.

It's tedious to do all these things with the mouse only. Give me a choice, please. I imagine how it can be useful with manual looting or NPC interactions when I can use E, R and F buttons, for example. What do you think, guys?

I'm totally in favor of an auto-loot system of some kind and would love to see it unlocked through a skill up of some kind. One thing I've noticed is that now that I'm using throwing knives all the time, some players tend to just loot them instead of leaving them behind for me to loot. To those ends, I liked this note:

    - it won't loot objects without permissions.

I'm not 100 percent on what you mean here, but if this system also meant that I could set my knives (or arrows or what have you) to being "loot by only me," that'd be amazing.
