Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Seasonal stuff is interesting, sort of like a much longer-term holiday event. It's one of those things that isn't very dramatic but it kind of makes things more interesting when there's a subset of items (Or possibly even quests/monsters/etc) that are only available at certain times. Kind of like the moon phase stuff it kind of connects Gorgon to real life and that's sort of a weird quirk I've grown fond of.

The food changes are nice, and while cheese is still superior in the vast majority of cases it does mean that high level non-cheese meals aren't that bad in comparison. The most major thing about this change for sure is that it's essentially a stealth buff to everyone's max HP, ESPECIALLY people who weren't using cheese before.

Swimming feels a lot better now, and is easier to control. I think the "Buoyancy" part where your character slowly floats upwards is kind of annoying though and makes it harder to control, although it's really minor at the same time. Your character automatically staying at the top of the water is definitely a nice change for sure.
I think a bit of a problem I found when swimming is that when I try to jump out of the water, my character shakes violently for a bit first, which makes the camera spaz out. It's not really an issue jumping once, but if I try to jump out of the water multiple times it kind of gives me a headache!

Also like real life, it gives us a use for all our auxiliary storage space. I was feeling a tinge of regret having worked quite hard to level up all my Serbule Hills storage only to see it quickly going from highly useful to an afterthought at best, as better storage options (the casino) opened up.

Now when the season ends, we can cram all our stuff "into the attic" (i guess South Serbule is maybe more of a basement) for next year

Seasonal event , really enjoying it and Like the idea . Have to say was really funny when two turkeys popped out instead of one
Bun-FU okay this is great to have two a year for rabbit is the only animal that requires potions that happened only once a year . ( And the invasion in spring is well lets say kill bunny get potion regardless if rabbit [then sell that said potion for trillions) .. This way you must be a rabbit to get it .. Like it

I like the idea of seasonal stuff, helps keep the game fresh and interesting with the game world changing, even just a little and I always enjoy collecting new recipes, food for gourmand etc.

Swimming feels more realistic now which is nice and it feels great to be able to leave autorun unattended now and not come back dead from drowning.

Food changes make sense too, I never understood why non-cheese main meals never gave a +max hp bonus and I appreciate the boost it gives me when I'm being cheap and decide to use sushi only.

Ahhhh, i love the seasonal stuff, so now i'm not only looking forward to the christmas stuff, but seasonal winter items as well. New recipes, items to forage or hunt for keeps me active and in game more, knowing theres more out there than the same things i hunted the past 4 years.

the swimming is super nice now, even if theres stuff thats bothersome now, we'll get used to it soon enough, my favorite is swimming across the water and not sinking like a dead body

the food changes are also spot on, since i always used both meal and snack i didnt see a huge difference but a guild mate only used snacks and he's hurting, well not hurting, but you get the idea, i'm cooking alot for him lets just say

Seasonal items: Cool, I guess? We needed more, easier, gourmand and this helps. Getting to 68 for top tier food is/was no joke. My one complaint is that turkey meat seems to be significantly rarer than cranberries, whether that's intended or not I do not know, but it is kind of annoying.
    - You might want to consider bumping seasonal work orders up a bit council-wise. I do tons of work orders, tons, but I'm still not doing the seasonals because it isn't worth collecting all of these materials consistently, but this is more of a complaint about cooking work orders in general. Especially when these recipes aren't new to us anymore, I will have absolutely no reason to revisit cranberries/turkeys ever again. Giving us 25-30k for the highest level ones might make me rethink this position, right now, the highest paying seasonals are only paying 18k.

Swimming: The speed nerfs begin. Annoyingly slow to jump over water now, which was the fastest way for everyone to get over water previously, yet another indirect buff to baby eaters. As one of the more prolific base material gatherers actively playing atm, I've been able to forego druid so far, but it seems as if you are building towards druid being required to play at the top level of the game. This will only become more true when you slow us down for mounts and "fix" mountain climbing.

Food: It's disheartening that the more-expensive-to-make snack cheeses are weaker than their meal counterparts now. Also, the nerf to out of combat power regen is felt; a group full of cheese eaters needs to wait for two ticks between some fights nowadays, when previously one tick was always enough. The metabolism regen nerf on cheese is super unfortunate. On the bright side, non-cheese have significantly more hp and cheese eaters have a bit more. So we got slowed down fighting-wise for a bit more hp.

Bunny event: Maybe a few too many bunny/unbunny potions as a reward. Maybe. Good mix of mobs in Gaz as it required you to go to every corner of the map.

    On the other changes:
    - Storage to inventory transfers are super nice and easy now. Great change.
    - Warden storage being accessible in Kur is wonderful.

Just wanted to say that I love the new seasonal concept. It makes the game feel more real and alive. Also gives something to look forward to without it being a weekend long event that some might miss because RL.

The new swimming system is nice and more in harmony with flying the only thing is jumping out or on water is a wired motion that feels like the game is lagging. Love the game and excited for the next update

Just as a thing to add on to the "Buoyancy" part of swimming. One example where floating upwards makes things really awkward is when trying to use the mushroom circle in Rahu. It's underwater, so if you try to use mushroom recall on it your character floats too far away once the casting/crafting time finishes and it doesn't work!
You can get around this by swimming downwards while casting recall, but that's pretty awkward and I didn't expect it to actually work because moving is supposed to cancel crafting/casting. If more underwater content is planned, then perhaps the players should be locked in place while performing an action, otherwise it may make doing certain things impossible or very awkward (Ex. Mining underwater).

Maybe not ideal, but you can cast mushroom recall from the surface of the water as long as you are directly over the circle.
