Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

The Weird Prism / Yeti Caves

I have a favor from Ilmari called "The Weird Prism" which asks me to go to the Yeti Caves and get an Archaic Prism. I've gone down every nook and cranny (including all the way down to Chitterface of the the Yeti Caves about 7 times and I cannot find it. I've looked in every room and used Seek Objective regular, but nothing shows up. Anyone know where it is?

    This is the quest text:

Thanks for the reply. I guess we'll just keep going back. We were looting a lot of the random junk on the ground and never got it. If it is random, it seems like slightly poor quest design to me, especially as there is two of us that need it and have been going in together looking for it and we should both be able to get it.

It is random and RARE. I had to camp out in Bloodsoaker's cave for 3 days straight and do nothing but clear ground spawns. It is best to pick up ALL the items on ground and pile them up somewhere out of the way, because that increases the likelihood of the prism actually spawning. The design is a little wonky, but not much different than other games that make you camp for quest items. This was one of the more difficult ones to complete in the game, however. Set a "target non-combatant" key and spam away!

I believe it comes from an "Adventurer' pack" or something like that. Rather than spamming next non combatant, I prefer to leave the graphics setting on that shows the names of the stuff on the ground all of the time.

Honestly, I'd recommend skipping the quest, you'll probably get more favor gifting the magical drops while finding the prism than completing the quest.

I actually picked up a prism yesterday as soon as I dropped down the first time. The ground item was called a "crafting sack" iirc. I'd second Ranperre's suggestion to show object names to make it easier to find - it is kind of grayish and might blend in with the floor otherwise.

I'd leave the quest in your log but not worry about it - if you are doing the cave for something else and stumble across the sack, great, but if not, no big deal. I think you do have to be on the quest to find the prism. I'd been through the yeti cave several times before I found my first prism but my alt got lucky yesterday and found it on her first trip.
