Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Rerolling fire/shield shoes iso Take The Lead

So, I've got a L50 red pair of 1/2 fire/shield windstep boots I've been trying forever to get take the lead to roll on. Now that we have the window telling us what our chances are, I see that somehow take the lead isn't even a possibility. Um, what? Do the shoes somehow have to match the exact level of possible mods? Transmutation doesn't explain the limitations/prerequisites about this. For instance, if the l55 version of the mod isn't possible, why not the l42? People have linked me [unaltered] windstep boots w/ take the lead on them, so is it a loot-only possiblity?

I wanted to bump this because I've run into the exact same problem with level 70 crafted boots. Take the lead is not listed as a transmutation possibility. So either it is a bug or this take the lead mod doesn't follow the same rules as every single other available mod.

If you're talking about the spped boost from Take the Lead, it has a rarity prerequisite, as many other mods do. You'll need an Epic rarity item to roll the high-level versions of that treasure effect.
