Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
I have some questions about horses if thats ok. If nothing else this might help you decide how you want them to work.
1. Can we survey or gather wood/fruit/plants from horseback?
2. Can we fight from horseback?
3. Is PG going to do the thing where "you get hit in combat and you fall off your horse"?
4. Will horses have a hp bar and can they be killed or mortally wounded?
5. Will horses need food or require a stable to "park" them in town?
6, Will monsters aggro on a "parked" horse?
7. Will horses appear as if by a magic whistle or will we need to collect them where we "parked" them?
8. Have you considered making sprint buffs be lost upon changing classes (the foundation for this should already exist with BC buffs vanishing when you change classes or zone)? This would prevent players being able to do multiple rapid gear swaps to be able to run stupid fast - meaning horses would be the supreme travel mode.
9. Will you make any changes to the frequency of appearance of movement mods if you do end up nerfing run speed mods?
10. Will sprint mods on gear affect horses?
