Broken Items - How long do you have to recover your grave?

Playing Hardcore, I got distracted for an hour or so, but when I returned to where I died, nothing. If I click on the item, it says I at the right spot, just no gravestone.

How long do you have? I know I've had them there for much long than that and was able to return and fix items for much longer than an hour.

There is something wrong in what you describe. When you're at the right spot, there is no message, the item gets repaired and that's it. What is the message you get exactly?

To answer your question, as far as I know, there is no time limit. Tombstones eventually disappear, but they are only a shortcut and a landmark.

I had same problem, you have to right click each item to get the missing components. Good luck, it was very frustrating to me then also.
