Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Arrow This game is a. lot. of. fun.

I'm only like 14 hours in but I've been loving every second of it, it's a really big world and I'm doing my best to see all of it. I've tip toed through the most dangerous areas I could find just to get a glimpse of what I can't even begin to challenge (Kur and Gazluk), I love the super-unforgiving nature of those areas. I wish more games were like that. Also, Eltibule is super nice, love the deafening sound of the peepers/toads. I went to Rahu last night for the first time, went to the casino, the whole thing left me laughing with the praying mantis and music, all of it was well done. The character progression has been very satisfying.

No bone to pick so far. Looking to build a desktop so I can get a higher frame rate/better picture. Getting 25 fps on my notebook right now. Will be nice to turn up the the picture/grade

I keep repeating myself, but this is my best forty bucks ever spent on entertainment. (not counting that Thailand adventure and $10 lady-boy ((which may or may not be just a joke))

Anyway, 300 hours into game and do not want to quit yet. Unfortunately, world is not that big, and zones are separate scenes, but anyway game has A LOT of stuff to do. In these 300 hours I'm still 30/30 top, and haven't visit anything beyond 2 starting zones.

In response to the size of the world, while small it is THICK. One of my favorite aspects is the lack of character level. I often switch to a new fighting skill and go back to lower level content to gather items and level up. One thing MMOs often struggle with is how to keep older/lower level content continuously relevant and PG does a great job.

I have multiple max leveled combat skills and about 1,000 hours logged and yet I spent this weekend in a dungeon in Serbule as a deer fighting Myconians, something I was doing over 900 hours ago and still enjoy. Take it slow and enjoy the journey - welcome to Alharth

Very much this. I was trying to find an apt description of why this game is so enjoyable, but this is it. Unlike many MMO's that are very linear, this one is very WIDE. Instead of driving you through zone to zone to zone as fast as possible until you reach a "level cap" it's all about exploring, unlocking things, trying new and different things. you can spend hundreds of hours and never leave the first 2 zones. And there are more areas that are still unfinished, which means hundreds of hours more!

End game is the beginning of the game. Doesn't change..you just expand on the stuff you can do.
