Probably stupid question (old account)

Hey,

I used to play Gorgon for a few months on my account, while it was still free. How would I now connect? Is my old acct with these chars still accessible? Do I have to do anything special?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere already, a link would be helpful, too.

Next, here's how to tie your Alpha game account to your Steam account:
If you've ever played the game before, your old characters are still alive and waiting for you. Here's how to connect them to your Steam account. (You can skip this part if you've never played before. When the game prompts you, just choose "I'm a Brand New Player" and you'll be all set!)


Play the game from Steam (see above). You will see the welcome screen that just asks you to click "Log In". Click it!
Now you're asked if you are a new user or if you already have an account. If you've ever played before, you do already have an account! Enter your alpha account name in the Username field. Enter your password in the password field. Then click "Use Existing Alpha Account".
If you don't remember your old password, use the link in-game to reset your password. If the password-reset email doesn't show up, please check your Spam folder for it. If your email address has changed or you have other problems logging into your account, email us at support(at)projectgorgon.com and we'll help get you set up.
Now you will see a final confirmation that you want to connect your Steam account and your alpha game account. You do! Click "Sync My Accounts!"
Now you can log in with an existing character or create a new character. (If your old characters look weird, like white boxes, that's just a side-effect of some server changes made during alpha; once you log in they'll automatically be fixed up.)

From now on you can just run the game from Steam and play; you won't have to enter your account name and password anymore.
