Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

    Arrow Ultimate Performance Guide MAX your FPS

    Before launching the game, we begin with the steam launch option;

    Right-click your Steam shortcut, open Properties, then edit the Target line after \Steam.exe

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -silent -forceservice -nocrashdialog -tcp -complete_install_via_http -single_core -no-dwrite -no-shared-textures -console -vrdisable

    Next is Nvidia control panel;

    Right‐click the Windows desktop, then click NVIDIA Control Panel from the context menu
    Go to manage 3D

    If you have an Intel Graphic Card, same as the Nvidia Control Panel, right‐click the Windows desktop, then click on Intel Graphics Settings; there is Guide down here:
    https://www.howtogeek.com/245592/how...raphics-chips/

    This one will have huge impact, but will consume more CPU power beware of overheat !

    - Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

    - Type in the following text, and then press Enter.

    powercfg.cpl

    - In the Power Options window, under Select a power plan, choose High Performance.

    - Click Save changes or click OK.

    Now you can launch the game, red framed rectangles on these pictures are my own preference you can adjust them depending on your Screen Monitor Hertz for example 60 FPS or 140 FPS.

    And special settings

    Let me know if this helped and have fun

    Could you please explain what each Steam launch settings does, as well as the Special Settings applied within the game? I'd like to try this but I want to know exactly what some of these do, for example "EasyDropItems". Thanks!

    EasyDropItems is used to drop an item from your inventory by only dragging it, instead of right click drop option.

    Other Special commands are explained on View Documentation.

    -console - This option enables the Steam debug console tab. It can help users debug the problem and fix it. It is mostly used by advanced users.
    -complete_install_via_http - This options runs the installation completion over HTTP by default.
    -forceservice - This command forces the Steam client to run even if Steam has administrator privileges.
    -no-dwrite - This forces the vgui to use GDI text even if there is a support for DWrite available.
    -silent - This helps suppress the dialogue box that opens automatically when you start Steam. This is mostly used when you have Steam set to auto-start when you turn on your computer.
    -single_core - This forces Steam to run and consume your primary CPU only and leave the others vacant.

    It might be helpful to explain why you think those are necessary. The same for the graphics settings. Why did you choose those values or options?
