Another potentially interesting game - Fractured (pre-alpha)
Welcome to Project: Gorgon!
Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Every post is pushing, you updated it almost as much as PG's dev blog.
But it was a nice push.
(And I don't usually watch videos but the dev had a nice cadence. The only thing it really competes with PG on is the 'discovery MMO' aspect. The mechanics are decidedly not-at-all like PG, for instance planned world PvP.)
I talk about PG on the Fractured forums as well because PG is something people can play now whereas Fractured pre-alpha won't be out until sometime around Nov and that's invite only so it might not be playable by the masses in an alpha state until 2019.
Fractured, as you said, offers something PG doesn't have (as PG offers something Fractured doesn't have). They both have the exploration and ability to mix up abilities with no set class and also their crafting is supposed to be detailed like PG, but they haven't released much information on that yet.
Like I said in my initial post, not trying to take away from PG but Fractured offers a PvP/open world aspect PG will never have.
It's a kind of MOBA/MMO with 3 races separated on different planets but part of a larger ecosystem.
Looks to much like path of exiles for my taste
Anything that looks like path of exiles or league of legends or any moba in existence in general I will pass on might not have the greatest computer in the world but I have my own standards
