Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
I was wondering how possible it is to go for what you want for a new player from the off if you know your preferred playstyle?
I generally always play Druidic/Shamanic characters with blunt weapons and so I would like to go Hammer/Druid ultimately. I appreciate the value of learning different skill but would maybe like to do that after I had progressed with my chosen skills.
So I guess what I am asking is would it be possible to get to Agrashab and befriend him enough to learn Hammer as a new player? I think my highest combat skill is currently 15 or so.
Technically you could hoard whatever it is that he likes (magic clubs, coins, fairy wings), fill your inventory with it and then run to him getting friend level and learning hammer from him. Unfortunately he is surrounded by hostile trolls so you might need an escort?
The greatest object in your goal will be the level requirement for Druid, to reach 50 in any other combat skill first. Regarding Agrashab, you probably can reach him if you know both where he his and how to avoid the monsters around him. With a combat skill at 15, I'd doubt you can harvest Fairy Wings just yet. They might drop from the Fairy Slaves in Serbule Hills, but I haven't killed any recently to check. If not, your best options would be magical clubs and ancient coins.
Just a quick note that if you do get a lot of fairy wings for favor, don't talk to any fairy npcs with them in your inventory. For some reason they don't like seeing the limbs of their fallen comrades on your person.
