Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Once you zoom in far enough the game goes first person. Your playermodel/arms are not visible, but there is a glitch sometimes where they are unintentionally visible and it would be actually great if it didn't have awkward camera collisions. A polished first person view would be incredible, it can be immersive and I like it a lot for gardening.
Thanks for the response. I don't think I could play an mmorpg without first person view. It's really the best way to explore and quest. Only in intensive group combat moments I'll switch to third person view for a more complete picture. This game sounds like good ol EQ, but with the unity graphics engine and an open skill system, so hopefully I'll have less of the Alt'itis...
The camera collision is awkward sometimes it zooms in and out when you walk or rotate around, it gives me a nausea hopefully they add an option like fixed camera or something.
