Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Lightbulb Here is how to prevent Random / periodic crashing on the steam client for Windows

Here is how to prevent Random / periodic crashing on the steam client for Windows

Go to the game directory in the location where you installed it.

Find the file in the games Root directory called "WindowsPlayer"

Right click it and set it incompatibility to windows 7 and set it to always run as admin under "Change Settings for all users" then again in the base settings in the prior tab under "compatibility" hit ok and then run your game through steam.

    You should no longer crash!

Been playing 12+ hours now without end and no crashy since ^^

    Thanks, trying this!

For Win 8.1, you right click and select Properties, then in the window that pops up, go to the compatibility tab and set run as admin and compatibility with win 7.

You can set run as admin by right clicking the filename but that should be redundant, and there's no way to set backward compatibility from right clicking the file. If it doesn't solve the occasional crashes I've been getting, I'll report back.
