Is this a bug in Werewolf/wolf behavior? or part of "insanity" ?
Welcome to Project: Gorgon!
Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
Is this a bug in Werewolf/wolf behavior? or part of "insanity" ?
I've been doing the wolf cave a lot, and noticed some very odd behavior. While fighting one, I may have 1-3 more add into a fight, which usually means i'm about to die. But at times, they simply run up, and don't engage. In an extreme case i killed two wolves while an Alpha and two others stared at me. I looted the bodies, drank a few potions, slowly regained my stats, then backed off a bit. They followed, one engaged. Killed him, looted. They killed the last and the alpha. This behavior has happened a couple of dozen times.
Bug? or Intentional?
Its happened both in the wolf cave, and on the beach area.
I always assumed that this was intentional as they are "insane" I love that sometimes they want your shoes in human form and other times they act like you don't exist. It makes the cave have an unpredictable quality. ohh I especially love the ones that follow you without attacking they are kind of creepy insane
If this behavior was intentionally coded, it's brilliant that "insane" enemies are actually insane and have randomized behavior.
That being said, it's more than likely a bug. Aggro is spotty most of the time and I wouldn't doubt a few enemies not attacking when they should is the result of something being coded wrong and slipping through the cracks for an update.
