Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Here are some more I took today. One of the things I love most about PG is how it fosters a sense of community and friendship. Working on the wolf tasks today had people from at least 4 different guilds helping each other out. We had too many people to all fit in a group so some helped without being in a group and others rotated in. Special thanks to Daguin, HotFelicity, Prognek, Tholyn, Mug, Lycan, Mankiller and Sasho providing the music. Fun times.

Another of my favorite things are the weekend special events. I grabbed a few shots from this weekend event.

Thank you for sharing Lakini! I love the fact that wolf events give us an excuse to revisit lots of beautiful and challenging content, and it always brings out the best friends to help everyone along. Hoooooooowl!

edit: apparently my high-res screenshots save at 23mb ea and I'm having issues finding a host for them that doesn't compress. Will include new links should these break or are too small from what Photobucket autosized to.

I'm having a blast taking pictures like a tourist on vacation I keep thinking of beautiful areas that need to be shot. Hopefully I am not taking too many lol. Special thanks to 2 super fun group runs: (Sagit, Bailiwick, Kimmz, ByronHelper, and Nomsen on Mants) and (Andrij, Sims, Hubris, Zeiss, and Daimes in DC).

Hey guys, loving the screen shots! Contest is still open, but I wanted to add some new info.

We picked some preliminary winners for our Steam page, and Valve turned a few of the screenshots down because they looked like pre-rendered images. The rule is that "screenshots must show actual gameplay." Of course, all your shots were in-game footage, but I guess the point is to make it very clear to the viewer that the shot came from in-game.

So if you want to do a shot of scenery, I think the best bet is to leave the UI enabled so that it's clearly in-game footage!

That's a shame - some of those landscapes were just gorgeous. Any chance of maybe adding a screenshot page to the non-Steam projectgorgon.com site to show off the screenshots that Valve rejected?
