Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Help me to have a pretty game

    Hello,

I tried many different settings, but i can't manage to have a pretty game. Before the visual update, last year, the game was not pretty, but it was simply "old school". Now, it's ugly.

I can't manage to have nice colors, the sky looks like it's painted over the rest, there is a black shadow around my character, the sun is aweful...

    Help !

What do you do in settings to not be that ugly ?

Have you tried lowering your resolution to 1600x900 or 1366(or 1360)x768?
As far as the black shadow I think that was some Unity update issue that they haven't worked out yet. Sometimes when you re-login it goes away.

It pretty much comes down to Unity at that point. Try changing the Unity graphics setting for the game, or disabling anything you might have turned on yourself, or vice-versa.

    Under Setting>Graphics Show Advance
    Check Bloom, Disable Bloom
There are other filters you could disable. Don't think there is anything you can do about the sun, it really only an issue a couple of game hours every game day. We had other sky options before in the old GUI but I don't see them now.

Make sure if you decided to play around with the settings to only change one thing at a time and restore any settings that don't improve the game for you.

Yep, thanks, i did all that, i tried some more.

It's sad to see the game looks worst today than before the "update". More options and modern stuff, sure, but also i think, less cohesive visuals all together.
