Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.
The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.
It has been recently highlighted once again by the devs that many testers do not report bugs i.e. the major purpose of Alpha.
Various reasons have been advanced: little feedback from devs (no central repository available for review, though Citan has responded to this point previously), 'I thought someone else had reported it', 'I'm to busy playing', 'It's not my responsibility', etc. i.e. can't be bothered.
Sometimes, it might just require a 'reward' /carrot to change behaviours & it will be essential in Beta that bug reporting is prioritised by individuals.
To assist in this, would it be useful to introduce a title(s) that people can 'earn' /compete for e.g. raising more than x (unique) bug reports during Beta, raising the most quantity of unique reports during Beta, etc.
Titles such as:
Bug Finder General (Beta)
Most Valuable Bug-raiser (Beta)
etc.
