Welcome to Project: Gorgon!

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) that features an immersive experience that allows the player to forge their own path through exploration and discovery. We won't be guiding you through a world on rails, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery. Project: Gorgon also features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience.

The Project: Gorgon development team is led by industry veteran Eric Heimburg. Eric has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Exactly! That being said, it feels like, at least during testing, we should be able to revert a permanent decision until the point in the game's development where that decision is an informed one....

Yes! That's essentially what I'm concerned about. I have absolutely no qualms about a permanent decision having lasting pros and cons that affect my overall gameplay. I am concerned that, basically,...

That isn't at all what I'm talking about. No one is complaining about there being permanent, irrevocable decisions. No one is complaining about there not being enough warnings regarding the nature of...

Although this has to do with animal forms and curses, specifically, what Citan mentions in this quote (below) makes perfect sense to me, and an example, in my opinion, of a perfect way to implement a...

    Permanent Character Alteration Concern(s)

I've been thinking about what I want to do in PG during this alpha phase, but one thing that I'm really on the fence about is Permanent Character Alternations (PCA's)--namely, for me, druidism. Now,...

True, true. I'm still tooling around with everything, but I am definitely enjoying it so far. I always try to get a sense at how things are setup and intended to be used before I start suggesting...

    Hello All!

    Lidocaine here!

Like a lot of you, I'm technically here from Asheron's Call. However, I stopped playing many years ago. It was my very first MMO from back in the late 90's--middle school ftw! Upon...
