I think I disagree with the choice that first aid and other endurance based side bar skills are linked to the lower of the two combat levels. Not sure if it is a bug or intended.
The exp drop off for being low and farming high monsters seems rough. As a level 45 in WW, getting 0 exp off panthers in Fae Realm feels bad. I think the drop off for lower monsters should be before bonus levels are taken into account and the high range of monsters should be after bonus levels (did not fully test that yet).
