I would like to know who will provide the security for my account and game servers, cause frankly i don't trust Steam so much in this issue.

Steam is "notorious" for being hacked all the time because of how much it hosts. Being on steam has nothing to do with whether you're hacked or not.
I think that would largely depend on how much of Steam's systems they are using. Project: Gorgon already has their own servers. One thing I know most hacking comes from, is exploiting the client server relationship when devs allow the game server to trust the client too much.
If we are talking gameplay affecting hacks/exploits like people flying around or speed hacking.
My friend's account was hacked and he got no help. I don't trust Steam.
