Bug: OSX Login Screen

I keep forgetting to report this one:

The area to click on 'enter password' for the login screen has gotten tiny. It was always small, but now if I don't click on just the vertical on the 'E', it doesn't work. Tab also doesn't work; it skips over the password pane and gives me an error that it's the wrong password.

It's the same no matter what resolution or windowed; although the smaller the more difficult!

Had anyone else noticed this?

Probably not important enough to make a new thread for, so I hope you don't mind me posting it in this related topic.... My loading screen now "times out" randomly if I afk for too long. My log-in section (username+password) is replaced with "Error: Could Not Interpret Metadata". This seems only to occur after the new UI rollout, but I'm not sure if it's machine specific (since my Mac died recently, I've been playing on PC again).
