The update notes for the December 3 update are posted here: https://forum.projectgorgon.com/showthread.php?924-Update-Notes-December-3-2017
The first post in that thread is general notes; the second post is specific changes from the last UI preview build - preview testers will likely want to check that out.
Discussion is in this thread!
The JSON parser has been updated (download from http://www.numbatsoft.com/download/pgjsonp/pgjsonp.zip or https://github.com/dlebansais/PgJsonParse/releases).
I didn't see any mention of a fix for the little room where Anhinda's coffin can be found in Gazluk Keep.

Big problem with vendors and UI. It seems a ui panel gets frozen after you try and adjust your vendor options and when you go to someone elses vendor , the frame is all screwed up, and it screws the UI up for everything else that has a interaction panel. Resetting the game doesn't fix it either.

I reported it as a bug. Every NPC interaction window has your merchant inventory/options/whatever you interacted with your vendor filling the bottom 90% of that window. I had to quit out entirely to fix it. Logging out would not work.

We expect to have that problem with the vendor management UI fixed in an update early tomorrow morning. Plus a bunch of other bugs also. I'll post again when those patch notes are up.

When I go to Settings > Special it says "NOTE: These options are ignored right now because you started the game in Safe Mode.".
Except I didn't start the game in safe mode. Is the game set to automatically start in safe mode, or is it just the special settings is disabled?

It's a display bug - the text shows no matter what. Also fixed in the update tonight. :)

New Login Window, weirdly gamebreaking: If you paste something too big for the password field, the field expands. But then it doesn't contract, leaving you possibly with an unusable screen.
Also, it's blurry until you get the settings right in world on 800x600.
PS: 'enter world' and 'delete character' seem dangerously close together.

The 'delete character' button requires a very clear user confirmation after it's pressed, so there's no real danger.
As for the low resolution that you mentioned, there are minimum system requirements that we'll publish in the future.

The danger is mostly wasted time. Putting a button you never want to accidentally press next to an always pressed button is just bad UI ^-^
The game works fine once I get in at that resolution.
Also... The shop window is really... Unusable. The smallest portion of the window is the part you want the largest?

You don't like it there, I get it. That said, there is no harm in it being there and obviously, opinons differ. Thanks for your thoughts.

Is there a way to hide the resize box around the buffs? (Have it only show up when moused over?)
Also, there doesn't seem to be a number on the inventory window showing your total inventory slots and how much you have free; didn't the old inventory window have this information? Edit: I believe I'm misremembering this? Either way, it'd be a nice thing to have.

Well, if you want more thoughts, I've managed to hit the delete button accidentally at least twice in the last couple weeks while testing the new UI. So, I agree with you that it's not all that dangerous since it requires a very clear confirmation. ;) However, it seems weird to me that a button that I'd want to use maybe once a year to never is right next to a button I use multiple times per day. Not the world's biggest problem though.
Anyway, what I really wanted to say in this thread is that the dev team is amazing. My eyes have been glazing over when wading through just a single page of the multi-page UI preview threads, and you read them all, responded to many posts, cataloged the bugs, fixed the bugs, introduced new features, responded in game to comments ... wow! Thank you!!! I hope you had time for sleep in between all the new stuff.
Oh, and I like the new UI a lot. :D

I too have accidentally started the delete character process. Hoping that it is only the newness of the interface and not something that I'll end up doing often.
Anyway, I love the new equipment icons. Can't wait till all the icons are updated.

Seconded, the shop window is kind of awful.
I would suggest you mess with the default settings for this UI though, default is fairly unusable...you want it to be reasonable for new players that aren't going to be willing to spend 3 hours fixing it to be usable their first time logging on. The options are definitely there though, and it has just about everything people wanted barring some minor convenience stuff that I'm sure you'll get to eventually.
I think you guys did a good job on just about everything else.( which is a LOT). Saying what you did right would be too much to list.

"I would suggest you mess with the default settings for this UI though, default is fairly unusable...you want it to be reasonable for new players that aren't going to be willing to spend 3 hours fixing it to be usable their first time logging on" that is precisely what I meant, Erdrick put it better I guess:)

If I'm not mistaken can't you just resize the window? I've only logged a dozen or so hours in the game, but it was pretty approachable and obvious I could do so.

Resizing the windows doesn't make the default fonts legible, the default window positions overlap or even show the right parts. This could be solved by having some presets built into the game - low res, high readabillity, bigger icons, simpler layout. Only need a couple of these.
Props to not having any default windows go offscreen in 800x, though! Aside from showing too much (like the globes), and some readability issues, the windows were all accessible on a small screen.

i do the extraction, etc.. and then when i try to run the new launcher file, it takes me right back to ver 6 and asks to install vers 7, go to webpage etc..
perhaps some simpler instructions?

Tbh I know i'm an airhead but I already bought items by accident, you have to go the extra mile to make sure you select the desired item or else you buy the default item (yes I did that lol). How that can happen, say you're browsing mushroom Jack's used tab and want 99 spider legs but the default item is spider silk. You click on the legs stack and type 99 in the window then click "it's a deal". And you end up with a stack of spider silk you didn't want just because you didn't click again to select the desired item and ended up buying the default item. That's how I messed up anyway. I admit most people are more careful when shopping but I'm not so that happened:) Also I almost dropped a piece of gear thinking it's going to storage:P Some things we will get used to, I have no doubts about that but other things (like a disproportionate popup window in a vendor interface could be tweaked a little.
Just to be clear I don't mean the scale, I mean when you go to a vendor and wanna check an item, that item's window covers everything around it so I can't compare with the other items that are above or below or check anything else for that matter:) Small stuff and it's mostly cosmetic.
A bug that I reported ingame after the latest patch (in case it gets lost in the flood of reports you probably get) when I switch from pockets gear to my regular gear and my inventory is actually overflowing, my inventory window doesn't show that, it actually shows empty slots but my character can't run, she's clearly encumbered. If we could get that message again "you're carrying too many items" again, it would be great:) Or have the inventory show how many items we carry that are overflowing.

The text pop-ups when doing certain actions are pretty intrusive.
In some situations, such as burying a corpse, and adding oil to lamps in town, the text doesn't get replaced by the most recent action, so it instead repeats itself, causing the text to stay on the screen for quite a long time, if done quickly.
Having the option to move, resize, and disable this text popup would be nice.
They should also not take priority over certain windows, such as the inventory window. (Excluding error pop-ups)
In general, the duration of the pop-ups are too long. IMO
It seems to be that there is too much space around everything. Icons titles and such. And we're all used to the old UI and having two windows open side by site to perform some activities, like tanning for example, or crafting when dragging things, which is more difficult now.
I would prefer it if when you picked up a thing from a corpse the rest of the items didn't get re-centred, as it means if you want to pick up two or 3 things in a row you can easily click on the wrong thing. It is my recollection that the old UI had things left aligned here. I can see that you want to centre things to make things lay out nicer, however.

The timer vs the disabled icons are hard to tell appart from each other, and in some cases from the normal "available for use" representation
