Bard: Hymn of resurrection, where art thou?

Has any one seen the Hymn of Resurrection bard mod - which is mooted to be on a Lute. There are supposedly level 50 and level 70 versions of this. But I don't think I have encountered it yet. Can anyone give me a rough clue as how it might be found.

Is it the case, for example, that it is only to be found on Gazluk mobs?

I have never seen it either. But I am quite sure it is supposed to drop somewhere in Gazluk Keep underground.

The level 70 one is pretty hard to get, but it does drop on lutes at the bottom floor of GK, northern area. You might also be lucky with chests in Gazluk caves (never seen lutes but you should if you play bard).

You could also be lucky with a universal even key. :)

I've had it drop two times. Both on the second level of Gazluk Keep (whilst playing Bard).

The level 70 version would only be in Gazluk Keep right now. But the lower-level version can appear on any lute that drops from a monster higher than level 50. Appropriate monsters that can drop lutes include: rakshasa in the desert (bandits, mages, and skirmishers), all the fightable rakshasa "townsfolk" in Rahu, high level bosses like Asterion, Claudia (and her loot chests), many monsters in Gazluk including Invulnisnails, Megatriffids, mummies, skeleton bulwarks, and other high-level undead, and, for some reason, Hissy.

Also: since it's a random loot-mod, it could show up on any high-level lute. And lutes are MUCH more likely to drop while you're using the Bard skill.

Thanks, that is helpful. I have not noticed the mobs level displayed anywhere. Is it visible somewhere; or it is that the loot will be level 50 from such a mob.

Monster level isn't displayed, but you can tell because the gear mods will have level 50+ requirements.
