If I am trying to find what extra skills you get from levelling I look at the wiki and find out that the skill ups are. What would be good to save time is have it reversed so for instance I currently want to where to get all the extra level skills for hammer I can find that easily. Currently I have to go through all the skills to try and find where they are.

That would be handy, but the downside is it could take away some of the surprise of finding out a skill gives synergy levels. In the meantime, this wiki page has exactly what you're looking for:
