Cannot login- My username does not exist?

I created my account here, does it not work for the launcher? When I try to use the password change link I get told my username does not exist?

A forum account, and what you sign into PG with are two different things. To make an account in PG, if I recall correctly, you need to first login as a guest. After doing so, you should be prompted in-game to make an account that you can log into the launcher with.
