If you are unable to post on the new forums this is what I did.

1. Go to the top of the page and click on "Settings"

2. On that page scroll down until you see "My Account"

3. Click on "Edit Email & Password"

4. Make sure you correct email address is listed in "Edit Email Address(optional)"

5. In "Edit Password (optional)" type a new password

This worked for me I received a confirmation email.
I used a new password and did not try just using my normal forum password so not sure if that will work.
If anyone does try that please post a reply to let everyone know if you HAVE to change your password to a new one or not.

Good Lord let me be the first to post in the in correct section. I guess this should probably be in the Website Technical Support section. If I could move it I would maybe you could for me ? Thanks

Note: You can't post until you activate your account via the email confirmation link.

Users Awaiting Activation can request an additional activation email be sent by clicking the "Settings" link in the upper left-hand corner and then scrolling down to "Email Activation Codes".

I have no link to "Email Activation Codes" anywhere.

Also when I came to the new forums I just hit the sign in through Steam. I wonder if that is the difference with people not receiving an email and not having a link to send verification email?
