Is War Cache M-3 broken?

I get to the room with 2 runes and 7 skull buttons, I do 6 skull buttons in correct order and the 7th one is wrong and door will not open. I even started over from beginning and got every button done perfectly and it still wont open that door.

i found 3 combinations that go together but one opens that door but inside are 2 more doors in one doorway that are probably for the other 2 combinations. But you cant see the inside doors until you get inside the first door, so it is impossible to figure out since a door that is opened, closes after a period of time. Help me please.

I can say I know I've done it, but I don't remember enough of how. But it IS possible.
This might be the puzzle where you need to hit stuff in an annoying order, and it's timed so you need to race through the door, and start the 2nd puzzle combo to finish in time.
