Hey so, I'm not sure how technically feasible this is, but I wanted to throw it out there.
I am ADDICTED to bard/music-playing. I will literally get completely side-tracked if I see a band playing in the square and join them, even if I was totally planning on doing something else, and it's become my mission to get all the instruments. It actually made me swap to Barding when that wasn't my original intention.
Anyway, I've gotten pretty good at timing my changes from songs onto the end of the loop so the change is as unobtrusive as possible, but I was thinking it would be so cool if the music did that for me - i.e., a particular song 'sticks' until the end of a loop, and you keep playing the current tune you're playing until the next break in the loop. I'm not sure how well that syncs across clients, either, but figured it was worth a post!
I know it's very 'cosmetic', but some of my best interactions with other players so far have been around a courtyard playing instruments!! :)
