Unlocking Fairy?

Greetings!

I have recently purchased / returned to Project Gorgon after playing for a few months in the alpha. I didn't know about the linking accounts so I have progressed a good degree on a fresh account (lvl 50 knife poking / 47 psych) and was searching for some knowledge / help regarding Fairy magic / race.

I have returned with 4 RL long time gamer friends and have been working hard to unlock the fairy race so I can reroll and catch up to where my friends are. I heard that there is a 4-day rotation on the daily casino dungeons. I am having a heck of a time finding out more info about what this entails. Many of the dungeons I used to solo / duo in alpha absolutely wreck me currently.

I suppose my primary question would be: Could anyone provide assistance in helping me unlock the fairy race (I have my winter nexus key) and possibly a link to more information about the casino daily dungeons? Do you have to obtain a quest prior to zoning into the dungeon to participate in the dungeon? Do you get the quest automatically by using the portal in? Will I be complete dead weight in the winter nexus at 50?

The 4 (maybe 5) of us are also looking for a guild / community to join and play with if yours is recruiting we'd love to talk to you more. Thanks in advance

You have to get the Winter Nexus Daily Quest prior to zoning in, from the Do Favor Menu of Qatik in the Casino, on the day it is active.

I think you can use the portal without getting the quest, but of course you won't be able to turn in the quest then. Not 100% sure, but I think I have used it to just teleport before.

At level 50 should be able to contribute something. A little more so if you are using ranged knife skills. Big factors will be how strong the rest of the group is, if they are all level 80s then they probably going to steamroll the place. Also depends on how well you are modded on your gear. If you got all green or gear for other skills equipped it makes you weaker. If you happen to have yellow gear with mods matching your abilities, you will probably help some to a lot.
