Rowen Trading Presents: Day of (Forever) Rest!

When: June 21st, 2-4 pm server (Eastern) time.
Where: PvP Dungeon in Serbule.

On June 21st, we will be holding a Dying XP event!

We plan to provide everyone with some unique PvP death and thus free dying experience! The goal is simply to come hungry for death (literally, to help us kill you and laugh about it).

For those interested in meeting serial killers in-game, please read the following instruction.

Rules:

Come hungry if possible and NAKED (Some people like to play with corpses, less work this way…). NO ARMOR ALLOWED.

Equip at least 1 music/dance skill and a weak base attack to be killed by a damaged shield, preferably 2 would be better when no damage shield is involved.

Items to lower your health will be provided a few iocaine practice dose and items as their basic price, through dispensers and item vendors at the beginning of the dungeon.

You will have to stand in line to be killed, no cutting or you will not be targeted. Some lines may move slowly depending on the type of death.

We will not target people with more than 120 Health Points. It is up to you to reduce that number by any means necessary (here’s is a list to remind you how).

Iocaine Practise dose -50 Max HP

There will be 2 rotations (with at least 2 types of death per killer), the deaths provided will change every 30 minutes: meaning the event will be rot A, rot B, rot A, rot B. The goal is to offer the maximum death possible and we are sorry if you end up missing some.

Any infraction to these rules will result in killers to ignore you and target someone else.

Ok, guys, you should have all the information necessary to plan your resting places or to ask for some autograph from famous killers. Usually, though they will sign with blood, yours.

I should add that the Deer and the Cow are to be preserved to have fresh meat at the end of the event. And perhaps to avoid any wild (naked?) Towers roaming around in hallways.

Also, I'm planning an event to kill the killers. This is a calling to any and all trolls; it is your moral obligation.

Roe, you've returned to a different Alharth.

Even in a pvp setting, harrassment behavior wouldn't be looked on kindly by participating guides or admins. Crashing the event with the intent to disrupt would be viewed just as you describe, as trolling. Not a good vibe for this party, man.

Proactively I'd say that there will probably be announcements regarding how such actions would be addressed, but likely there will be the same reaction as we formerly experienced when people used annoying AOEs at poetry events, including kicks and temp bans. The intention behind this event would be to help as many people as possible receive death xp. That's a positive vibe.

If you're thinking ahead to such endeavours, you can arrange your own killing fest, Roekai. Just set up the event and have it posted on the calendar if you want. Make it so.

Thank you everyone for coming and not complaining on how messy this was. It was my first time organizing something this difficult and I tried to find a way to give a lot of type of death and in a small and I know that a lot of you got confused and left.
I'm also sorry for the things that went wrong from the start, like the empty Battle Chemistry area, or the lack of item vendor for fuel oil & inks. I tried to address those issue but it went outside my predictions.

I do hope those who came had fun, earned a little bit of XP and didn't suffer for the chaos.

After some testing, here is how to obtain the "Discomfort" death. All credits to Kirkidan.

The Many Cuts DoT does 1 HP of damage in PvP. Make sure the target has zero slashing mitigation but has some Armor, and attack them with Many Cuts in such a way that they have only a couple points of Health left after the attack. The DoT will do the last points of damage and give 1000 Dying XP.
