Steam has a patch for project gorgon

But no news? Is it like pre-downloading for a patch? or is my steam just drunk?

I'm not seeing anything like that (the message that Steam has an update for PG), but maybe i'm not looking in the right place.

Sometimes the game patches very quickly. You can check how recently it's been patched by Steam Client -> Library -> right click Project: Gorgon -> Properties... --> Local Files tab -> Browse Local Files ... -> (this will open up the folder on your hard/solid state/etc drive where the PG files are stored) -> sort by Date Modified, and again on contained folders to look for ones that have been modified recently and check the timestamps.

There have been two Hot-Fixes, one a couple days ago and another at the end of last month. Info on them is in the news on the game launcher.
