Tracking down a Harp

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a Harp. If anyone has one they're willing to part with I'm willing to pay, please let me know.

I've shouted out in trade sporadically over the last few days, did a few combs through the Serbule trade stalls, and scoped out related consignment tabs. No luck at all. I'm doing a lot of gardening recently and want to get 20 in Stringed Instruments because the Faery Chimes sound incredible! I've gotten to the point where the mini-dulcimer and blatterhorn tunes are drilled into my brain.


Even if you have any tips for aquiring one, please chime in. I've read they drop from Kur bosses but I'm not sure if I can solo any of those yet and I figured it'd be quicker to track one down and trade instead of gathering a group and praying for a drop.

People fairly often form up groups to kill the Necromancer in Kur Tower in order to unlock Ice Magic.

This is the same boss who drops harps, so that can be a good way to get one (it's how i acquired mine).

Also, probably not great, but you mentioned you check consignment tabs, do you also check used tabs? Sometimes these get sold to npc vendors outright.

Thanks for the tips! I'll have to join any I see forming up. I can get real deep into Kur tower with no issues, so that'd be pretty doable.
Also yes, I check the used tabs as well. Luck for finding items is always hit or miss, so I'll just keep trying.

Another question, if i just held a harp would that raise my level cap, then could I raise it from playing a standard lute? If thats the case I really just need to hold one for a second.

Strange thinks but Necromancer boss never drop Harp for me it was always the Ghoul boss...
better kill both when hunting Harp

It was a while ago; maybe i'm misremembering. One person was running ahead killing everything.

I was going to say maybe he just killed Gravamux too and that's where i got the harp, but i just checked my notoriety and i've never killed Gravamux, so that's not it. I have the one Lomas kill from April 2017, so maybe he used to drop harps but now it's Gravamux?

Not sure on this, but my guess is you need to play the harp to continue earning xp in stringed instruments.

Update! So after 3 days of combing used tabs, consignment and Serbule Player Stalls while intermittently spamming trade I finally got one! I was so desperate I was willing to offer 25k, but shout out to Chill in game for giving me one for free!
