Alright... Ive used all the troubleshooting steps in the forum and nothing works.

Anytime I enter the world with any character and do any action, the entire program freezes. Previous to this, I experienced 2 good days of game play with no issues. I even started a new account, in hopes that my main account was corrupted... Still no go.

I am playing on a Mac....so I also downloaded "CrossOver Games" to run the game through a windows launches, but cannot seem to get it installed completely.

Any additional advice on how to get going again? I prefer to run off my Mac so that i can report issues more accurately to the team... but wouldn't mind playing off of a windows simulator if i need too... I just need direction.

Just to be clear, you are experiencing this issue running our official MAC launcher?

Yes I am running the official Mac launcher. I use it in normal iOS. Started happening last week, and so I upgraded my iOS to Sierra and still a no go.

I play on a Mac using OS X, I see no problems.

Have you tried rebuilding the games files? You have to delete the 'temporary' folder where all the game files sit, and force it to re download.

I've forgotten if I'm using the default folder or not, though.

Crissa-

I have and even did it again, just now. I've even started in safe mode, and emailed the Gorgon team. At this point I am going to have to find another game to play now that Asheron's Call AND Project: Gorgon is down for me.

Unless anyone have any ideas... Any windows emulators that are know to work with the launcher??? "CrossOver Games" does not.

When you emailed the team did you remember to include your crash log?

I emailed them over a week ago with no response. I did not include the log as those directions are only helpful for Windows users. I am using a Mac, and cannot find anything of the sort.

It sounds to me like it applies to all operating systems:

"You can double-check the location of your particular game files by running the launcher. At the bottom of the launcher, you should see a message like so:

"(Files downloading to C:/Users/Sandra/AppData/Local/ProjectGorgon/WindowsPlayer)" "

Whatever folder that is on a Mac is the folder where output_log.txt should be created.

I suspect the reason that didn't work is that Crossover only supports 32-bit and Gorgon requires a 64-bit Windows OS at the moment. I got bitten by that myself when I tried using 32-bit wine for Gorgon without actually reading the Windows system requirements...

I know nothing about Macs unfortunately. I suppose you could try a VirtualBox install of Windows or Linux or something like that, but that is going to be rather time-consuming to set up and may not fix your freeze problem if it's caused by some kind of hardware/resource problem on your computer. I assume you are still able to play other games without a problem?

Yup can still play others... even played Gorgon for almost 2 weeks without any issues. Started happening after a patch.

Hm, if it's patch-related, that might actually be good - maybe it will go away mysteriously after a future patch then.

My main suggestion at this point would be to try very hard to see if you can find any kind of log, as alleryn suggested. I'm not sure if a freeze would actually result in a crash log, but any error message anywhere would help a lot.
